Working across teams and collaboratively across the organization, the Manager, Partner Success leads the program design, implementation, and tracking of high-touch Learning Experiences and Concierge services, engages in corporate partner relationship management, and directs the BoardLead candidate experience to ensure strong outcomes.

DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Manager, Partner Success works closely with (Senior) Program Associates and the Associate Director of BoardLead to drive high-impact nonprofit board placement, training, and support.
In this role, you will lead the Partner Success team providing critical operational and strategic support across Cause Strategy Partners’ core offerings, including Concierge Service Delivery, the BoardLead corporate partner and candidate experience, and Learning Experiences Design & Delivery. You will excel in high-stakes relationship management across corporate and nonprofit audiences, project management, and delivering presentations to a corporate audience. As an organized and proactive contributor, you will regularly evaluate systems and processes to elevate our work.
The Manager, Partner Success will be responsible for:
Concierge Service Delivery
- Responsibilities include:
- Oversee program management for all concierge engagements, including
- Lead delivery of the concierge experience to senior executives, including relationship management with senior executives, presenting top nonprofit choices to executives, and providing ongoing support to candidates and nonprofits through the vetting process
- Build and refine Concierge tools, including:
- Lead the process of finalizing and maintaining the Concierge handbook
- Build and organize tools for ongoing data management and consistency across engagements on HubSpot
- Develop, deploy, and analyze customer satisfaction surveys for senior executives and corporate clients
- Assign Concierge engagements and related tasks to Program Associate(s) as appropriate
- Oversee program management for all concierge engagements, including
- Execute data management responsibilities in partnership with Partner Success team
- Leverage influence, gravitas, and expertise of CSP’s leadership team in Concierge engagements, as necessary, to ensure successful outcomes
- Engage Senior Director, Programs & Services on Concierge engagements as appropriate
Learning Experiences Design & Delivery
- Oversee the design, execution, and tracking processes of governance learning experiences for corporate audiences and paying customers (i.e nonprofits engaging in board assessments)
- Guide team members and participate in developing new content for corporate audiences consistent with CSP’s strategic priorities and corporate needs
- Stay current on governance best practices and sector trends to inform learning design
- Support the ongoing development of lead trainers and begin to deliver foundational nonprofit governance training
- Creatively support corporate client contracts and needs, in close coordination with the Director, Programs & Services
BoardLead Program Development & Delivery
- In partnership with the Associate Director, BoardLead & Nonprofit Success, oversee the BoardLead candidate experience,BoardLead Direct to Individual implementation, and the Cause Strategy Partners Nonprofit Board Service Fellows opportunity, ensuring the program is delivered with excellence
- Facilitate and prepare a team to deliver BoardLead Candidate Info Sessions, and Guide to the First Meeting Webinars
- Support the development and logistics of BoardLead Workshop Series training sessions in partnership with the Senior Associate, Partner Success
- As needed, align on core messaging and overall training content with the BoardLead Network team
Corporate Relationship Management & Partner Experience
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for corporate partners across program and service areas, ensuring a high-quality experience throughout the partnership lifecycle
- Ensure contracts are utilized in a timely manner, and creatively support client needs to proactively strengthen and expand partnerships, in close coordination with the Senior Director, Programs & Services
- Track and leverage data on HubSpot to identify trends, recommend improvements, and elevate success stories
- Working with the Associate Director, BoardLead & Nonprofit Success, manage BoardLead program candidate communications, reporting, webinar scheduling, link sharing, etc. with corporate partners
Team Management
- Responsible for managing, onboarding and ramp up of (Senior) Program Associates and Specialist(s) to CSP culture, programs and services, and other CSP resources
- Set weekly tasks and goals for report(s) and hold weekly check-ins with team members, which include conversations around professional development and opportunities for learning
- Monitor workflow and capacity of direct report(s), making adjustments to responsibilities, as necessary, to ensure strong operational execution across training delivery, Concierge processes, BoardLead candidate support, and corporate partner management
- Set clear priorities, review deliverables, and provide regular coaching and feedback
- Cultivate a high-performing, collaborative, and learning-driven team culture
DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
The Manager selected to fill this position will report into the Senior Director, Programs & Services. The individual selected to fill this important position will be expected to perform their work in accord with the values of Cause Strategy Partners. They must be adept at a number of core competencies, including:
1. Strategic Program Manager & Team Leader: The Manager, Partner Success takes full ownership of key operational streams while guiding and delegating effectively to (Senior) Program Associates. They manage high-stakes workflows with a high degree of autonomy, balance competing priorities, and continuously refine processes to drive team efficiency and program excellence.
2. High-Stakes Facilitator & Communicator: An exceptional written, verbal, and in-person communicator, the Manager inspires trust across diverse audiences. They excel at presenting to senior executives, facilitating engaging learning experiences, and articulating Cause Strategy Partners’ value proposition to both corporate and nonprofit leadership.
3. Tech-Savvy & Systems Optimizer: The ideal candidate leverages technology to scale operations and improve candidate and client experiences. They possess advanced proficiency with tools like HubSpot (or similar CRMs), Google Workspace, and Zoom, with a strong ability to build data management workflows, track partner engagement metrics, and analyze program performance.
4. Executive Relationship Builder: A skilled relationship manager, the Manager builds authentic, high-trust connections with corporate partners and executive candidates. They listen strategically, navigate complex partner dynamics with professionalism, and tailor solutions to ensure high partner satisfaction and contract retention.
5. Continuous Improvement & Collaborative Champion: The Manager fosters a culture of curiosity, innovation, and teamwork. They proactively gather feedback, experiment with new methods, and collaborate cross-functionally across Cause Strategy Partners to elevate programs, mentor team members, and drive continuous organizational learning.
6. Deep Social Sector & Governance Expertise: Nonprofit governance is our passion. The Manager brings a strong understanding of the social sector, nonprofit leadership, or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), enabling them to offer thoughtful guidance, evaluate board candidates, and design meaningful learning experiences.
Please note the following expectations for this role:
- Remote-First Work Schedule: Cause Strategy Partners’ regular business hours are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Time (ET), Monday through Friday.
- Travel: All employees are expected to travel to rotating locations for at least three multi-day team convenings per year. Additional travel will be required for trainings, events, and occasional in-person work.
- Location: Because this role works closely with a Partner Success team concentrated in the Northeast and involves periodic regional travel, preference will be given to candidates residing along the Northeast Corridor between Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC.
- Equipment and technology: All remote personnel are expected to have a computer which can support remote work applications and meetings–including a reliable, stable internet connection.
- Employment Eligibility Verification: In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
COMPENSATION
Salary: $75,000 to $80,000, commensurate with experience, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.
