Your choices about collection and use of your information
- You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but that may result in you being unable to successfully use BoardLead, or access certain features of our site because such information may be required in order for you to access the services BoardLead provides.
- By registering on our site, you consent to receive email messages and telephone calls from us. At any time you can choose to no longer receive emails from us. How we protect your personal information
We take appropriate security measures to help safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access and disclosure. We want you to feel confident using our website to identify a nonprofit board opportunity that is right for you. However, no system can be completely secure. Therefore, although we take steps to secure your information, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information, searches, or other communications will always remain secure. Whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information electronically, that information may become publicly available and can be collected and used by others. For example, if you share your email address, you may receive unsolicited messages by BoardLead, Cause Strategy Partners, Inc. or others. We cannot control who reads your board candidate profile, for example, or what others may do with the information you voluntarily post, so we encourage you to exercise discretion and caution with respect to your personal information.
