DESCRIPTION​ &​ ​RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain an existing application using Laravel Framework (v11+)

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features

• Write clean and efficient code, prioritizing readability and maintainability

• Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs before PR creation

• Investigate and resolve QA & user-reported bugs

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of professional experience as a PHP developer

• Proficient with the Laravel framework and ecosystem.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Experience with the Tailwind CSS framework preferred.

• Strong understanding of Eloquent ORM, as well as the ability to write and debug complex SQL queries

• Experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub)

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Familiarity with Jira or similar software

• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (PHPUnit, PEST)

• Remote work with opportunities to connect in person: Cause Strategy Partners’ headquarters are in New York City, but our organization will remain a virtual workplace for the foreseeable future. Accordingly, this role is a remote opportunity, with the expectation that the employee will travel to in-person meetings and team retreats from time to time as deemed necessary.
• Equipment and technology: The Senior Associate will be responsible for using their own computer, phone and other necessary technology. Google Voice services can be provided. All remote personnel are expected to have a computer system which can support remote work applications and meetings, including a reliable, stable internet connection.
• Work schedule: Cause Strategy Partners’ regular business hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET), Monday through Friday.
• Employment Eligibility Verification: In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

COMMITMENT

• 40 hours/ month
